MANIFEST is a globally-minded editorial world exploring fashion, beauty, art, culture, and the human experience, capturing not only style and creativity, but also the depth of life’s becoming: purpose, dreams, and the inner worlds that shape the contemporary spirit of the Philippines, while celebrating Filipino creativity across local and global landscapes.
Designed with an elegant keepsake book, MANIFEST preserves memorable stories and visual narratives shaped by the Filipino identity and creativity.
Early Beginnings of Manifest Magazine
MANIFEST was established in 2021 by founder Czarina Denise Flores, whose lineage in journalism and legacy of championing the Filipino voice trace back through generations of journalists, including her grandfather, Filipino-American founder, publisher, and editor-in-chief of “The Filipino Press,” Ernesto “Ernie” Flores Jr., whose legacy deeply influenced her writing journey.
Built only with vision, creativity, and belief of friends, while lacking investor funding, corporate backing, or personal wealth, MANIFEST emerged as a manifestation of collective Filipino dreamers living across continents — Philippines, India, Ireland, New Zealand, Australia, and Germany.
Throughout its journey, MANIFEST has encountered challenges, including the subsequent emergence of other magazines using the same name “Manifest” despite the presence of MANIFEST with the strongest domain ManifestMagazine.com and with search results ranking it at the very top in the editorial space.
Yet despite these challenges, the vision of MANIFEST continues. While other publications carrying the same name may possess greater financial resources, MANIFEST remains committed to its vision of building a meaningful editorial world that merges fashion, beauty, art, culture, and the deeper dimensions of human life.
