Manifest Magazine (or ManifestMagazine.com) began as a goal, a manifestation post-pandemic of a group of dreamers from different parts of the world – the Philippines, India, Ireland, New Zealand, and Australia. In 2021, while in Manila, Philippines, founder Czarina Denise Flores conceptualized Manifest Magazine along with her Filipino friends who are based in different countries.
It was in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic when most people in the world had to stay home to stop the disease from spreading. For these friends, the experience also became a reflection on life and on what they want to do in their lives. With a shared passion for writing, content creation, sharing ideas and discussions, and design, together they formed a vision for Manifest Magazine, while fueling their hope and personal mission to leave a mark in the industry.
With no funding from investors, and no background of being from an existing big company, nor personal deep pockets, the founder started Manifest Magazine as a digital magazine with a website and presence in social media platforms Instagram and Facebook. Its domain then started as TheManifestMag.com and is now the ManifestMagazine.com that it is today.

With the founder’s strong interest in fashion, the core theme of Manifest Magazine became fashion along with other categories. Manifest Magazine was then described as an online magazine on life’s important themes: people’s happiness, interests, and dreams that they manifest; expressions of individuality through fashion, beauty, style, and lifestyle; understanding, learning of, and interests in travel, art, and culture; and discussions of wellness, career, education, and business.
At the beginning, these topics formed a long list, which made it difficult to describe Manifest Magazine with a short phrase. Also, the varied themes made it difficult for Manifest to have a unifying visual aesthetic of the mixture of its themes.
Eventually, Manifest Magazine simplified its themes with a New Direction. It also formed a new visual branding that resonated with its Renewed Vision and Mission.
Although Manifest Magazine wanted to be recognized mainly as a magazine in the genre/category of fashion, beauty, and lifestyle, from the start Manifest also wanted to highlight its side of depth that explores life more. Hence, it wanted to include arts and culture, discussions of wellness, education, career, and business, The Manifest Magazine wanted to discuss and deep dive into life’s important themes.
Despite the magazine’s name being “Manifest,” the magazine’s articles are not just about the popular “Manifestation Culture.” Manifest Magazine uses the beautiful word “Manifest” as its title or name, but its content explores fashion, beauty, lifestyle, and different aspects of human life.
Included in the discussion about life is the topic of “Manifestation” and the growing “Culture” surrounding it. However, Manifest Magazine has always aimed to approach “Manifestation” from a wholistic perspective that sees the different sides, trends, opinions, and the attitudes and behaviors people develop around it.
Manifest Magazine also seeks to shed light on the pressures and toxicity that can sometimes emerge from the “Manifestation Culture,” “Commercialized Manifestation,” and the “Business Side of Manifestation.” Through these discussions, Manifest Magazine hopes to encourage balance, awareness, reflection, and discernment among readers who navigate these ideas in their personal journeys.

MANIFEST Magazine is a digital editorial archive of exploring Philippine fashion, beauty, arts and culture, human experiences, and the journey of becoming.
