Manifest Magazine (or ManifestMagazine.com) began as a goal, a manifestation post-pandemic of a group of dreamers from different parts of the world – the Philippines, India, Ireland, New Zealand, and Australia. In 2021, while in Manila, Philippines, founder Czarina Denise Flores conceptualized Manifest Magazine along with her Filipino friends who are based in different countries.
It was in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic when most people in the world had to stay home to stop the disease from spreading. For these friends, the experience also became a reflection on life and on what they want to do in their lives. With a shared passion for writing, content creation, sharing ideas and discussions, and design, together they formed a vision for Manifest Magazine, while fueling their hope and personal mission to leave a mark in the industry.
With no funding from investors, and no background of being from an existing big company, nor personal deep pockets, the founder started Manifest Magazine as a digital magazine with a website and presence in social media platforms Instagram and Facebook. Its domain then started as TheManifestMag.com (and is now ManifestMagazine.com).

Manifest Magazine was then described as an online magazine on life’s important themes: people’s happiness, interests, and dreams that they manifest; expressions of individuality through fashion, beauty, style, and lifestyle; understanding, learning of, and interests in travel, art, and culture; and discussions of wellness, career, education, and business.
At the beginning these topics formed a long list, which made it difficult to describe Manifest Magazine with a short phrase. Also, the varied themes made it difficult for Manifest to have a visual aesthetic that unifies the mixture its themes.
“We are the FIRST magazine with the name MANIFEST, with focus on the themes of Fashion, Beauty, Lifestyle, Happiness, and Manifestations.”

Eventually, Manifest Magazine simplified its themes with a new direction. It also formed a new visual branding that resonated with its renewed vision and mission.
Ever since I could read, storytelling has always fascinated me – leaves of pages full of words with a few sketches in between that hint the author’s imagination, picture books with the most captivating illustrations presented with beautifully written poetic stories, and movies that noticeably touch more people in a…
